A natural product refers to ingredients that have been sourced from nature. Cahaya skincare products are made from all natural products.
Organic ingredients comply with certain standards for organic farming, for instance no pesticides or chemical herbicides may be used on crops. To the extent possible we have used organic ingredients. But certain ingredients, for example Shea butter, is derived from the nut of the Vitellaria tree (Vitellaria Paradoxa), which is similar to an oak and usually grows wild. For this reason, Shea butter is not certified as organic, however it is never sprayed with any chemicals or pesticides or herbicides or anything synthetic.

No. Our products are free from gluten, soy, plastics, synthetics, silicone, Sodium lauryl ether sulphate (SLS), poly ethylene glycols (PEG) and parabens. Our products do contain naturally derived phenoxyethanol, which serves as a stabiliser and an antibacterial agent, in very low concentrations. Pregnant ladies and nursing mothers should consult a professional, prior to using our products.
